So it isn't set in Belfast, but it is set in Ireland. It's the best I could do!

This was a good beach read. Not something I would read again, but enjoyable and quick. The idea is quite novel as the MC runs a divorce hotel.

#BelfastChild #JuneTunz

LauraBrook Sounds like fun! #stacked 8y
queerbookreader But actually a divorce hotel sounds like kind of a good idea 👀 at least in theory? 8y
Bookworm54 @lemonlime799 yeah I thought it was a very cool idea :) 8y
Cinfhen Ha! That sounds like a potential moneymaker 🤑🤑🤑 8y

Mehso-so

This was a "So-So" read. I didn't quite warm to the MC but I liked the murder-mystery.

If I didn't mention C.S. Lewis for #BelfastChild, I think my Narnia book club would kick me out. #JuneTunz

Cinfhen Hahaha....you're safe! 8y

I read this many years ago. An American woman's husband dies while piloting a plane in Ireland. She discovers he has an entirely different life in Ireland and is involved with the IRA. Belfast plays a small part in the story. #belfastchild #junetunz

Cinfhen Sounds good!!! Good memory...I can't remember half the books I read😞 8y
DivineDiana @Cinfhen I'm with you! But this one stayed with me because it shook my soul! Asked my husband if the IRA would have a connection in Belfast and then magic Google showed me that the city is mentioned in the book! 8y

#JuneTunz #belfastchild Thought I was being original for a tough photo prompt today when I looked up 'famous people from Belfast' & saw Kenneth Branagh-but I see he's already been used a few times. 😬Oh well! I got nothing else!😆He's played characters in movies & TV that are in my book stacks: Gilderoy Lockhart in the Harry Potter books, Benedick of Much Ado About Nothing, & Kurt Wallander from the series & this tagged book in my Kindle #TBR 📚☘️

LiteraryinPA He's going to be Poirot in the movie coming out in November! 8y
JazzFeathers @LiteraryinLititz l really can't wait to see him as Poirot. Looks like he's done something pretty awesome 😍 8y
Cinfhen Ain't nothing wrong with this #BelfastChild appearing in my feed 😉 8y
annkuch13 His version of Hamlet is divine! I'm so excited to see him as Poirot! 8y

These both predate anything called Belfast, but I'm sure there's action in and around those parts of Ireland within. #BelfastChild #JuneTunz

A bit of a cheat here for #belfastchild I've only seen the movie adaptation of this '70s picaresque tale of Patrick "Kitten" Braden ("Pussy" apparently in the book) and the funny/sad/violent adventures she has through Ireland and England.

#junetunz

Cinfhen Nicely played 👍🏻 8y
batsy Nice one. I was trying to find a way to use Cillian Murphy for this prompt but Murphy is from Cork, so this is perfect 😉 8y
Seshat Such a good movie. I should read the book. 8y
