Late to post my #Roll100 picks for November but here we go:
#8 Any BOTM We Solve Murders
#38 Any ARC Kill g Me Soufflé
#39 Any Subscription Book Shark Heart (going with another BOTM to try & finish the challenge)
A Song Among the Silence isn't in the Litsy database but should be. It's the first book in the Rhythmist Cycle by Julie Janis, and while it's not my favourite book ever, I am intrigued enough by the story to want to read the rest of the series. #38-2024
I love unreliable narrators, and this book has two! A tragically disturbing story that stems from mean, errr psycho mean girl childhood trauma with turns that keep you guessing. I kept thinking I knew “whodunit” and at one point I came close but then said nah it couldn‘t be so I moved on and focused on other possible suspects. Feeney is great at crafting fantastic thrillers and I will read anything and everything she writes. Book #38 in 2024
I was curious to read Yardley's earlier work. This was a contemporary vanilla steamy romance between two restaurant chefs. The conflict/obstacle was mild and not particularly self-inflicted, which I always appreciate. Lots of cooking, and sex in cupboards.
And I'm done with #WickedWords for March! @AsYouWish
Also #38 for #BookChain #BookChain2024 @TheAromaofBooks

Book 4 of 5. Not sure I like the direction this is going but only 1 more to the end. And I need to know the end. #38-2023
Book #38
4/5
This one has more twists than a Twizzler, a saying I recently made up to describe the Murdaugh Murders docuseries. Like MM, The Paris Apartment features complicated relationships, illicit affairs, money, and power. In ny opinion, this is, by far, the best of Foley's four books to date.
