McCarthyism: “no one will ever know how much inventive and progressive talent during that period was stifled and stultified.“ 😔

You know what you shouldn't really do? Read the biography of a celebrated memoirist. Honestly, this just felt unnecessary. Not that it's bad, just unneeded.

I love finding autographed memoirs at thrift stores, especially when they‘re signed to me! 😉 I‘m also a M*A*S*H fan & even visited the actual set for a press party way back when.
Mike a.k.a “B.J. Hunnicutt” shared wonderful stories about the many cast members who became close friends. It also warmed my heart to learn that Mike has been a fierce activist for human rights, social justice & righting the many wrongs he‘s seen across the globe.🙌🏻💙

Best song ever. I married into a large family where this song is our song. We dance to it with all our celebrations. #ARichLife @Eggs @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks

I haven‘t kept up with book reviews for several months. These are the 2nd & 3rd books in a trilogy of cozy mysteries. I liked the narrator better for the 2nd than 3rd.
Wandering Scholar involves a love triangle of vicars & one wife, plus several interesting characters in a small town.
Sorrowful Maiden has a lot of turns, because of the actors involved. Guessed 1 twist early on but there were a lot of red herrings to choose from. Both books 4⭐️/5

Another great romance from Olivia Dade! I laughed out loud at some parts of the book and appreciate the reference to Jurassic Park at the end!
