Tambourines to Glory: A Novel | Langston Hughes

The puppas are not enjoying this walk in the rain, yet they INSIST on going out. 🤷🏻‍♀️
Listening to Hughes, fabulously narrated (and sung! In multiple voices!) by the incredibly talented Myra Lucretia Taylor.
James McBride used a lot of similar themes in Deacon King Kong, which I read and loved recently. Both books are great.

A Boy Called Christmas | Matt Haig

I finished reading the book a week ago, and I don't generally re-read, but this second run through is eye-opening. I see what you did there, Margaret!
