While I was already very familiar with Clytemnestra‘s story, I was completely riveted by Costanza Casati‘s retelling. I felt and ached on every page from the tragedies that befell Clytemnestra, her daughters and the other women of Greece. #TeamClytemnestra

While I was not familiar with Betty Gilpin the actress, I found Betty Gilpin the essayist very relatable. She eloquently and hysterically shares her worries, neurosies and insights on depression, anxiety and daily observations. This collection was incredibly thoughtful and articulate with the perfect balance of urgency and frivolity.

It‘s a gripping story, easy & breezy although it contains plenty of relatable heavier questions about marriage, motherhood, relationships, work and happiness. This would make for a great bookclub discussion. It‘s contemporary fiction that I haven‘t read before. Definite pick 💕 #CoverCrush
