Many thanks to @DebinHawaii for bringing book blends spices to my attention. My bookish coworker and I had a great time “relishing” the puns! It turns out there‘s a new local indie bookstore that sells them, so I got stocking stuffers for my Austen-loving sister and my chili-loving brother-in-law. I bet these would make a great #holidaysnack (or anytime snack) sprinkled on popcorn. #hollyjollyreading

I combined my review of this Pride and Prejudice continuation of Charlotte after she marries Collins with a review of Dried and Prejudice Seasoned Salt for #bookclubcookbook #BlendsBash making a modern, veggie White Soup. Full review & recipe on the blog (link👇🏻). This debut novel is pitch perfect & a pick for me & P&P fans wondering whether Charlotte chose the right path. A bit melancholy but still delightful read & the spice blend is😋too.

Today‘s soup was a little kitchen fun with the “Where the Crawdads Zing” #bookishblend I received as part of the #BlendsBash blogging event I am taking part in. The Book Club Cookbook has wonderful book (& TV & music) inspired seasoning blends. I made my version of North Carolina Fish Stew & a compound butter for biscuits with this blend, one of two I selected to try.
