pickI loved getting to know Dermot and Buster in this one. I laughed a little less in this story and cried a whole lot more, especially at the end. It took me a few minutes after I finished to manage to stop crying, I‘d just fallen in love with Agnes and her boys. Brendan O‘Carroll can really bring characters to life and make you love them, flaws and all.

GingerAntics @TheBookHippie that‘s the perfect word for this writing. I had to watch the ridiculous, not at all the books, just to cheer up. I used to be able to say I wasn‘t a crier. I‘m not sure I can anymore. This whole series is wonderful, and just amazingly written. 3y

GingerAntics @TheBookHippie I teared up at Frankie‘s. I think it was sort of avoided in the first book. I love that she came back for Agnes, though in the third one. O‘Carroll still managed to make that funny, she‘d just come from lunch with Elvis. 3y
