So I think I am done posting for tonight. I do have some more genre type things to post tomorrow. Need to do alittle more for #CrimeADay and work on #JustAnotherGraphicMonday, #YAFriday, and #ChickLitSunday. Be on the lookout if those are some genres u like. But for now, I will jump in the shower and then crawl into bed to do alittle reading. Happy night everyone!

I usually don't worry but when I am getting overwhelmed that is pretty exactly what it is. Me working about things and just getting all overwhelmed and icky before I need to be. Got to this part while I was doing my laundry today. I had been going through some depression/overwhelming symptoms recently and yes... I do need to remember that I need to “switch it up“ a bit when I am feeling hurt. Branch out. Learn new coping skills! -- All this is a work in progress :) #ChickLitSunday

DieAReader Hugs❤️ @ElizaMarie I definitely relate to both the quote & you hun🥰 I hope you find some great ‘branch out‘ options/opportunities as well as good coping skills. I‘ve “learned” so many that I‘ve lost track🤷🏻‍♀️ Putting them into practice has been the extremely difficult ‘cause when I need them, my 🧠 goes completely blank! I can‘t be the only one this happens to. 5y

Josee.lit.a.lu.et.lira I hope you fell better using the tools you have. My favorite tool to deal with anxiety is “EFT/Tapping” are you familiar with this tool/technique? 🙏🏻 5y

ElizaMarie @Josee.a.lu.lit.et.lira Thanks for the suggestion. I am familiar but its not one that has ever helped me. I do well with deep breathing and some grounding type of practices . Been engaging in meditation (guided) daily which has been more than helpful.

ElizaMarie @Pageturner1 No. I was thinking of getting/making a blog to just let things out. I have tried journaling in the past but I couldn't do it consistently I hate my handwriting and it turned into a “ugh Its so ugly“... so yeah I maybe a blog? What you do you suggest? 5y

Pageturner1 @ElizaMarie I would suggest journaling, blogging, crafting, cooking. anything to occupy your mine and to release the negativity. I should be doing this as well. I try at times and helps but i am not consistent. right now writing letters or crafting is helping me. 5y

ElizaMarie @Pageturner1 I love writing letters. I have to try to shift my headspace. I try not to write anything negative (or too negative so sometimes I get a slump where I don't send as much letters as I would like -- but usually it makes me happy to send happiness to others). I know I used to use live journal --- hmm wonder if there is still something like that around ? I am not really able to do as much crafting or painting (what I used to love) ⬇ 5y

ElizaMarie @Pageturner1 because I am a travel nurse and can't bring all my stuff and really don't have a work space. So I am kinda stuck a little bit with stuff like that. But... We will see. Maybe someday soon. 5y

ElizaMarie @Pageturner1 thanks! I never got into the coloring books (they are more stressful) They are too tiny! But I do have a little doodle type book that I like to try to draw little kawaii pieces :) 5y

So I totally get this whole “nothing thing“ Like I do say I am doing “nothing“ today and it really means I am gonna read, maybe take a bath, write some letters, binge some shows. You know my “nothing“ is super important ME time :) But... I wouldn't miss out on a date for nothing,. (So similarities but lots of differences) #ChickLitSunday

DieAReader I often find myself defending my “nothing” time with too many people. What they don‘t & likely will NEVER understand is that my “nothing” time is the only thing keeping the 🤪 at bay🤷🏻‍♀️ 5y
