Can't find my copy anywhere. Besides, l read this book many many years ago, when l read most of my King (he was my favourite author in my teens).
I still remember to be fascinated with the idea of a tangibile dark self to be faced. That's always been one of my favourite themes

diovival This was the first King I ever read! 7y
JazzFeathers @diovival My first King was Carrie, which is still one of my favourite 7y

My #FaveStephenKing books are The Dark Half & On Writing. I own several of his books, thanks to a friend giving me the duplicates in his collection, but I haven't read many of them yet. I have a difficult time reading horror because my brain likes to hang onto scary images & then put them on endless replay when I'm trying to sleep. I do intend to read them - on a sunny afternoon when I can read or watch something lighter afterwards! #AutumnReads

JazzFeathers Ah! That's my favorite King too! 7y

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ As I've mentioned several times before, I am faint of heart. I don't read books that make me want to sleep with the light on. I've always avoided King until last year when I read my first, Joyland. I was thoroughly surprised. King is an amazing story teller and I can't believe I waited this long to read one of his books. I look forward to reading more, all be it the less scary ones of course.

I'm not a huge Stephen King fan, but this is my favorite of his. And within these novellas, "The Body" is a bit of a #tearjerker. #favestephenking #awesomeautumnbooks #autumnreads

The Stand is my favourite Stephen King novel. It's a long read but it's well worth it. I had a physical copy as well but ,y brother borrowed it and kept it.

The Regulators | Stephen King, Richard Bachman

So for #favestephenking I choose Richard Bachman ? My fave? Unsure but is the one I remember quite a bit; it terrified me and made my childhood self go "wtf is happening here?!" Turns out, besides not knowing/liking the sci-fi genre and probably not understanding autism too well, I just found out SK wrote a coordinating book- the 2 books are parallel universes and even the 1st edition covers align to make a full pic!
