#GIVEAWAYHISTORICAL @Liberty I LOVED both of these books: ‘My Lady Jane‘ was in no way historically accurate but absolutely scrumptious, and Mackenzi Lee‘s book, ‘The Gentleman‘s Guide to Vice and Virtue‘ was another one I read almost simultaneously. I lapped them up! I can‘t even handle how gorgeous both of these covers are. Lee is writing a sequel and there‘s a new Janie book coming out! Squee!

I loved this historical YA novel, as well as Between Shades of Gray, another historical novel by Ruta Sepetys.

One of my beloved elephants presents my pick for #GIVEAWAYHISTORICAL BELOVED. Sethe struggles to embrace the ghost of her baby, while making a life after escaping from the painful past she lived as a slave. Morrison's writing is beautiful and this novel is as unsettling as it is unputdownable.
