I couldn‘t help it! When I hear #hive, this scene always comes to mind.

“Mos Eisley spaceport. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. We must be cautious.” #QuotsyJul21

Went to 🐝 books for #hive quotes & liked the description:

“In the meantime, the hive, painted in rainbow stripes by a neighbor‘s six-year-old twins in some long-ago backyard, was sitting in the middle of the terrace with two gardenias acting as scented sentry guards on either side. Sugar lugged the gardenias with her wherever she went to help guide the bees back to their new home while they were getting used to their surroundings.”

This book, Escape Velocity by Mark Walden, is a great book if you are into James Bond and advanced technology. There are a little bit of wizardry-like powers in the book. For example, Otto Malpense is able to directly interface with any computer, due to the organic supercomputer that was cultivated in his head. This allows him to help in rescuing Nero from the grasp of H.O.P.E, a criminal organization that was promoted by the government.

Requesting help from the #hive mind, so please share. I received this poster of scratch off 100 Essential Books for my birthday. I want to display it and still be able to continue scratching off books as I read. Does anyone know of a type of frame that works? Who has this poster and what is your solution? Thanks for any and all ideas!

DGRachel I would just suggest finding a frame you like and removing the glass/acrylic. You may need to mount the poster to the backing, but it should stay in the frame and you can easily access it to scratch off books. Save the glass and install it when you are done. 7y
GingerAntics Some stores sell just these plastic things you can slip on the edges (not sure why). The edges of your poster would be protected, but everything else would be vulnerable. I think your best bet is to mount to the back of the frame as suggested by @DGRachel. I‘ve even had some poster frames that were too big for my actual posters that I‘ve had to do that will anyway. Definitely safe the glass/acrylic and put it on when done. It will look wonderful. 7y
