Today was Star Wars Reads Day at my library! I'm really glad I got to help work the program! It was SO MUCH FUN! We had face painting, lightsaber demos, crafts, an escape room, and standees you could take pictures with! OMG GENERAL ORGANA! 😍 I also saw a Mara Jade cosplayer that I fangirled over! #librarylove #librariansoflitsy
Made this yesterday for one of my twin great-grand nephews coming to us soon from a land far far away... working on number 2 today. Also continuing with the #BFC only 4 me (#BFC4me), I logged 31,341 steps and read 8.2 hours (1.2 hours beyond my weekly goal). I finished “The Summer Country” by Lauren Willig. I‘m listening to “The Fiery Cross” by Diana Gabaldon and reading “Jacob‘s Choice” by Ervin R. Stutzman. I‘m tagging to keep me accountable.
Somewhat book related... I attended a preview of Disney World‘s Galaxy‘s Edge today, and brought home some Star Wars pins to add to the collection!
Can‘t pass up a chance to show off some #StarWars stuff! I don‘t have as much as I used to (lost a lot in a house fire nearly 20 years ago) but here‘s some of my current collection of books, movies, #FunkoPops, board games, bookmarks, puzzles, toys, posters, etc. And of course, some pics of me with Darth Vader & my fave Star Wars story book. #Maythe4thBeWithYou #MayMadness #ShowMeYourStarWars
I‘m trying to understand how everyone uses ratings, since we do not have a shared rubric. Sometimes, I‘m confused by a rating that does not seem consistent with a review. Help me out and share your system and tag me please!!!?!?!
OK, so that is super fun!
I had to share these Christmas gifts with my fellow Star Wars fans. The hubs ( @TheWhiteHatter ) gave me a Millennium Falcon book light, and a Princess Leia doll! I‘m so tickled with the doll! It made me feel like a happy little girl again when I opened it! 😂❤️
I'm sorry, but I couldn't help myself! I HAD to use a Star Wars quote! Since I was a child, I always think of this scene when I hear #alliance. Like so many 70s kids, it was probably my first introduction to the words rebel, alliance, and traitor! #QuotsyNov18 (image from IMDB)
1. Star Wars: Episode IV—A New Hope
2. Visiting and exploring the Great Pyramids of Giza, Egypt—awe-inspiring and unforgettable
3. Archaeology and/or history
5. Name a book someone recommended that you were sure you would hate but actually wound up loving (I love it when this happens—love being surprised)
1) I read both Historical fiction and Nonfiction
2) Star Wars of course but I grew up watching Star Trek
4) J.R.R. Tolkien
5) if I tag you you‘ve just started to follow me so have some fun and play along if you haven‘t 😋📖

#BookMail #StarWarsHaul As promised, these are the books naked plus the inside of the dust jacket of Star Wars A New Hope. From left to right is Lost Stars, A New Hope & Return Of The Jedi. I can‘t wait to get The Empire Strikes Back,I‘m pretty sure it‘s green with a Yoda silhouette. I love it when books look just as pretty naked! Unfortunately,I couldn‘t find a hardcover copy of Bloodlines so if any of y‘all know where I can find one,let me know?
I think everything is right except for the jaded and sarcastic part. I actually really optimistic.
"A long time ago in a #galaxy far, far away...." With those words began my lifelong love of #StarWars ❤️ Pictured here are some of my collection of books, movies & assorted fun stuff like puzzles, Lego, etc. and a pic of me rocking my Kylo Ren 3D glasses before seeing The Last Jedi. Happy Star Wars Day, Littens! May the force be with you always! #Maythe4th #Maythefourthbewithyou #QuotsyMay18
