Lovely #nonfictionpicturebook #biography of the boy who became President. I particularly enjoyed learning how he worked hard to overcome his stutter (memorizing poetry, experimenting with marbles…). The book itself does not mention the death of his wife and daughter or of his son later on, but these events are included in a timeline at the end of the book. #JoeBiden

youngreadrshelf Do you think it would be good for middle grade readers? 3y
BookishMarginalia @youngreadrshelf I‘m a fan of picture books for all readers, so yes — they are great springboards for conversation and further research in a really accessible, appealing way. 3y
youngreadrshelf @BookishMarginalia thanks. I also like using books as a way to start conversations in my classroom. 3y

I. Cried. So. Much. 😭 How I miss having compassionate, kind, loving people as our First and Second Families. But that aside; Jill Biden is an eloquent writer, and reading this book was like sitting down with an old friend to share some quiet, lovely time filled with both laughter and tears. I‘ll definitely be adding this to my personal collection. #wherethelightenters #jillbiden #joe2020 #pleasecomeback

I love the Bidens, honestly, so there was really never any question that I‘d pick this up. 🤷🏻‍♀️ And so far, it‘s wonderful. Jill Biden is an amazing woman. 💖 #wherethelightenters #jillbiden #joe2020
