Two fun books.

This was dumb and silly in all the best ways. I really enjoyed it.
The best of the library used book sales is back! I clearly handled myself with restraint.... #bookhaul
Celebrating Inauguration Day with Kobo specials on some buddy mystery/comedy reads, and wondering what is the plural form of POTUS?
Want to chuckle at the idea of Joe Biden and Barak Obama trying to play at being private eyes? This corny book is for you then.
It was fun reading this now, with Biden headed into the White House next month. Every line Obama had, I could hear his voice in my head. Kind of nostalgic, in a silly way. I don‘t know if I really believe Biden is into muscle cars, but maybe.
Sietje‘s on alert in case of squirrels, but agreed to a quick photo.
1. The last one I read was Death with Dostoyevsky (it was pretty terrible) 2. Barack Obama! (See tagged book) 3. There‘s one series I live where the detective owns a peach-themed shop @ozma.of.oz #sundayfunday I love a good cozy and can‘t wait to see others replies!
I treated myself to this year‘s David‘s Teas advent calendar. This morning is Chocolate Almond Black Tea, with a side of grapefruit juice and some Barry and Joe. This book is silly, with tons of cliche and puns, but the timing seemed good for it and I‘m sort of in the mood for something ridiculous. Also it‘s my #doublespin this month. 🤗
Minor spoiler: I'm sorry but this book contains a dream sequence in which Barack Obama turned up in a white toga, riding a unicorn, and tells Joe Biden to hop on so they can go and set up his [Biden's] campaign headquarters.
I chose to believe this is Canon and nothing will change my mind 😂😂
#BidenHarris2020 🇺🇲🇺🇲
Finished work early so catching up on some reading while I wait on the other half finishing work 😊
No better time then now, I suppose. Way to go America!!!!
💙
Happy election night from the UK 🇺🇲
You don't need shirtless men when you have uncle Joe Biden 😂😂
I don't know a lot about American politics, but I love Joe and Obama in this so much that I've just decided that (canonly) this is how they act in real life 😆😆
America needs a hero. We‘ve got two of them. #andrewshaffer

Saw this on insta and thought I would share. I have two of these stickers because Shaffer gave them out at a signing, and I love them. He also has other items, including his books, on this site. A lot of Littens might be interested in his new book coming out soon called Secret Santa. It‘s a horror book, but I‘m sure it will be funny, too.
Read this during the Democratic National Convention. 😎 Such fun! Buckle up, people. It's almost time to #VOTE ☑️
OK, I've been dragging my heels to read the following #popsugarreadingchallenge prompt: “a fiction or non fiction book about a world leader“. There are SO MANY great books by great leaders out there, and so many lessons I could've learned but...I admit it. I took the easy route on this one and went for something super campy with an extra side of cheese.
One more crossed off the list...I regret nothing!!
I can‘t believe it‘s less than a week to June! I updated my list, here‘s my June #Bookspin @TheAromaofBooks
I wonder what the numbers will choose for me this month?
Simply delightful
Plans for the day: coffee and a delightful mystery on the deck, vinyl break, read on a blanket in the yard.
I bought this book for the cover and was not disappointed! It's basically those old Joe Biden memes in book form. I loved it.

I received this book as a Goodreads giveaway. This was such a fun read and a much needed light hearted break during COVID-19. Even though this book is fiction, I really really miss the last administration's steady hand during a crisis #17 #2020
A fun romp through the state of Delaware as Biden and Obama bicker like an old married couple and solve the mystery of a dead Amtrak conductor. #50states
Green means book has been read. Blue means book has been identified but not yet read. Red means I‘m still looking for a book from that state. So suggestions welcome...
“Nice night for a walk”
With it being Super Tuesday here in Florida, this book seemed appropriate.
#isolationbuddy @veritysalter @TheKidUpstairs
It started off cute, but didn‘t really keep my attention. I started skimming just to finish it. Campy and a bit too much. When you have a version of who the people are in your head and then read someone else‘s fictionalized version of the same people, well, it just didn‘t mesh for me. The mystery itself was okay. A bit over the top to be a cozy. But another book done for #marchunshelfing
#randosurvey
1. My move to Japan has been pushed out until at least the end of May.
2. 😂 Yes, I think I‘m okay there.
3. I was invited to a friend‘s house for a party on Saturday. Will probably still do that.
4. The tagged book, Huntress on Kindle, & Scorching Shadows on Audible
5. Does rewatching Up & Wall-e count? I haven‘t gone to the movies in a long while and have been binging only TV on Netflix.
#weekendreads
1. Just starting the tagged. Also reading First Dangle & Other Stories by Kevin Hearne and listening to Promise of Wrath by Steve McHugh
2. Not right now.
3. My pup Dexter and my TeddyCat, who bring me such joy and love and lots of laughter. ❤️🐶❤️🐱
Finished this in car line today 😆
It's a cozy mystery that has nothing to do with politics and everything to do with bromance.
And just look at this epic cover 🤣
The book was okay, but this wine glass from my friend is awesome!
A more joyful read than my 3 stars suggest. If you want an easy, breezy, holiday read this is the kind of fun you need in your life. Who doesn‘t want to read about Joe Biden head-butting a bikie?
#readharder2019 a cozy mystery, because everyone needs this kind of joy in their lives
A fun light read. Just what i was looking for.
Looking for a fun, light read. Excited to start this one!

A new month means another book tracker. I haven‘t really felt like reading much but thanks to audiobooks I was able to finish 8 books this month.
Finally getting around to this one! Needing a good laugh and something not so serious.
#10 of my #14Books14Weeks, This was such a fun summer read! Funny and clever, this book really captures the bromance and humor between the former president and vice president that many of us came to enjoy ? I would categorize this as a cozy mystery. The book touches on some important and current subjects which are balanced with a little bit of "This could never happen" ? A bit of humor and a few jabs at current politicians...
I snuck into the used bookstore today hoping to find more Shirley Jackson but no luck 😭. I did get lucky with these ($9 plus tax!). I had just been telling @Leftcoastzen that I was having a hard time finding the tagged book used, and guess what 😊!
McEwan is for #1001Books (someday); had been wanting to read The Great Santini; and the like-new HP is to replace the paperback edition my son has. Now all of his HPs are hardbacks 👍
Yay!I‘m a little mad at myself,I‘m stalled on my #booked2019 challenge , reading serious books and #chunksters that I am enjoying but...what a breath of fresh air this Biden/Obama bromance mystery was!Just needed something lighter and this book did the trick.I know there is a second one out, looking forward to reading more of this series.Clever and fun.🥰
Reading Hope Never Dies by Andrew Schaffer as a recommendation by my local bookstore since the author was coming to our town to do a signing. I did not get to go to the author signing but overall has been a fairly good book. If you were really into their bromance memes that came out after their time in office, you will probably love this book.
#readingUsa2019.
Delaware : Hope Never Dies. ( forgot to check off the map. 😳)
Oregon: The Child Finder
South Dakota: Finding Dorothy
It gets harder to find books that I‘m willing to read based on the setting. Suggestions welcome for Arkansas and Kentucky.
It‘s been forever since I‘ve posted an actual book review on here (I‘m not reading as much, I guess). But I couldn‘t be quiet about this book. -I devoured it! Interesting storyline and hilarious, yet sometimes profound, dynamic between one of my favorite duos, Biden and Obama. I‘m looking forward to starting the sequel, hopefully, next week. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Making some real progress with my #diamondpainting and preparing for Andrew Shaffer's visit to our bookstore for Hope Rides Again.
This book is simply a fun little mystery with joe Biden as the main character and Obama as his sidekick. What is amazing, the author captures how these two men talk. A fun summer read! ( I miss normal).
