#day5 #lawn #poetrymatters So, I placed in the top 10 finalists in the state of Michigan for my performance of a hodgepodge of poems from this book (this poem + others) almost 20 years ago! 😱🤣 The prompt word gave me flashbacks from so many speaking/acting competitions with my high school team. 😁 One of the few parts of high school that I miss. ❤️
