This book took me back to junior high. Of course, it‘s a mature point of view. Beautifully written. I felt that it maintained the spirit and integrity of the Little House story perfectly in it‘s simplicity. A must read for Little House lovers.

Oh Nellie! Enjoyed this book. Alison Arngrim is a real down to earth person. Her life was nothing compared to her home life on the prairie. She was a strong young woman who became the fighter she is today.

I‘m in! My goal is to finish my “library shelf.” Some of the books I‘ve had for, uh, more than a year. I‘ll post a picture shortly!
Some reading and a late lunch. I forgot who recommend this book to me on here - but thank you. I am enjoying seeing the familiar story from an adult‘s perspective.
I finished this audiobook today. I enjoyed listening to the audiobook. It is told in Caroline point of view instead of Laura's. I rated this book a 3 out of 5 stars. This is the fourth book completed in the #RushAThon readathon hosted by @Andrew65
Engaging read. Learned a lot about her, her career and the cast of Little House.

Re- reading the Little House series made me want to re-read this book which is the Ingalls family‘s time in Kansas told from Ma‘s perspective. I thought it was really well done.
It's a windy day with widespread power outages expected. I may have to channel my inner Ma Ingalls and live without electricity ?
This book wasn't what I expected.
I wanted to read heartwarming stories from the set of Little House on the Prairie.
Instead, I read about a real (sometimes unlikable woman) with real struggles.
A good reminder not to assume you "know" a celebrity based on the character they portray.
This is a soft pick. I enjoyed it, but I think it could have been a little more humorous. It was chaotic and disjointed at the beginning, but gets better. She seems to be a bit disenchanted about the places she visited and judgmental about the other tourists she meets along the way. She talks several times about lugging cameras everywhere but there isn‘t a single photo. But she did all the things I wanted to do and I‘m glad I read it. #littlehouse
I‘m really enjoying this buddy read hosted by @megnews 📚 I‘ve always had a fascination with Little House, and loved the shows. I have all the seasons, and it warms my heart to read these beautiful classics!
