EadieB The characters are mysterious as they are notified as numbers. The plot is one that leaves me reading until the very end. I will be continuing with the series as I do enjoy Golden Age mysteries. If you like mysteries from 1928 then you will love this book. 11mo

The characters are ones that you love to hate and the plot is such that it causes you to keep reading until the very end of the book. I will definitely be reading more of Hamish Macbeth as he does have a spot in my heart. 12mo

When the most hated man in the town is missing, Hamish finds him sleeping with the fishes as he was dumped into a tank filled with crustaceans.

EadieB All that remain of the murdered victim are his bones. This is a great book and one that I really enjoyed. It was entertaining and the unique plot kept me reading until the surprise ending. M.C. Beaton has written 33 of these books so I have plenty more to read. If you like characters such as Hamish Macbeth, then you will love these books. 12mo
