What can I say about this book? 😬
I didn‘t like Tegan or the other “main” characters, in fact they irritated me a lot 🤪😒🫢😬- considering I had only read The Housemaid series by this author, this wasn‘t a great start to the rest of her books, it was readable and kept me gripped just enough to get to the end

I have lots of friends who LOVE her books and have been encouraging me to try one. So I did. This is not for me.

This past week I was on vacation and it rained for 4 days so what else was there to do but kick back and read! #28of2025
Ruth‘s memoir of her mother was a sad one. Feminist in nature, we get a glimpse into a life where choices for education, career, and marriage were not allowed. I read this solely because I was being lazy - it ticked off three prompts on the Goodreads reading challenges
Note to self: choose books because they genuinely interest you, not to satisfy a prompt.
This was repetitive, unintentionally funny in places, and I didn‘t like the writing style. The best review of it I‘ve seen is “if Temu wrote Misery”…
Book 64/80 #Read2025 @DieAReader
The story begins with a car accident that leaves the main character, Teagan, stranded in a remote forest with an injured foot when a huge nightmare of a man Hank rescues her and takes her home with him. But is Hank scary and evil? As the tension builds, layers of deception unravel, revealing that not everyone is who they seem. I was shocked by it all!
love the ending on this one…typical freida mcfadden plot twist #audiophile #readinglife #readinggoal
