#ISpyBingoFebruary @TheAromaofBooks @Clwojick It's amazing where these bingo prompts bring me. This I grew up with. Brings back fond memories of my childhood and reading this to my children. Cute book.
Happy Mother‘s Day to all my Littens celebrating today; and to those who find this day difficult, I am thinking of you & sending you love, peace, and tranquility today. 💜 #happymothersday #youareloved #youareseen #begentle

3. 3 brothers (one of them a twin). I would‘ve said two brothers and one sister, but she came out as transgender last year.
4. I believe this is the first book that I remember being read to me. Or it could of been Where the Wild Things Are.

“Are you my mother?” Is about a sweet little birdie. His new mother, thinking her unhatched egg will stay in her nest, leaves her baby alone to find food. https://www.britannica.com/art/childrens-literature. This MF CL book utilizes UDL principal to go along with it would be 3.2 (highlight patterns, features, and relationships
#3books that I‘ve gifted to others
I always give books for baby shower gifts. I usually get a board book, a learning to read-type book, and then a chapter book. These are 3 I often gift.
This adorable MF children‘s book written and illustrated by P.D Eastman is a super cute children‘s picture book. Follow the little baby bird on his journey to reconnect with my mother. Are you his mother? #ucflae3414su20
1. P.D. Eastman
2. OK, I guess. I haven't finished any books yet, but I am reading though.
3. In Pieces by Sally Field. Although I could probably add Born a Crime as I might buy it on sale for $4.99 soon.

My Mom is my light in the storm, my fiercest champion, and my source of strength when I feel I cannot go on. I feel eternally blessed to have her as my mother. Not everyone is as lucky to have experienced a love like this from a parent. I hope someday I will get the chance to be a Mom like her. Thank you to all the Moms our there—we‘d be lost without you. #HappyMothersDay #May10 #MagicalMay #MothersDay #BiblioMAYnia #AMothersStory
Happy Mother‘s Day to all my Littens who are Moms! I hope you have a beautiful day filled with peace & love. The tagged book is MY Mom‘s favorite childhood book. And to all of you who have lost your Mothers or are estranged from your Mother‘s, I am sending you so much love today. #HappyMothersDay 💐🌸💕📖
Little miss independent is currently obsessed with this book, and can hold it herself thank you very much! Heaven forbid I try to help her turn a page! 🤣🤣🤣 #raisingreaders
Are You My Mother? is a great MF book for new readers. This book is about a baby bird that has hatched when his mother was away getting food. The baby bird goes on an adventure to find his mother asking every animal he comes across if they are his mother. www.betterlesson.com has a great lesson plan to go with this story. Have the students read it in PR, then have them make a diagram with all the animals and objects he came across.#UCFLAE3414SP20
“Are You My Mother?” is a fiction picture book written by P.D Eastman. My mom use to read this book to me all the time as a child. I absolutely loved it! It‘s about a baby bird looking for his mom after she went to find him food. He is so determined to find his mother, that he asks all of these different animals if she is his mother! It is so cute, you must read it. I would use this book as a read aloud in my classroom.
“Are You My Mother?” by P.D Eastman is a silly F story about a newly hatched bird who wanders around looking for his mother who left to find food for him. He asks a cat, a hen, a dog, and many more if they are his mother! This story makes a great S or RA that young readers will definitely laugh at! #UCFLAE3414F19
I thought this part was really funny because the cow is so large and jokingly says I'm a cow how could I be your mom
I liked this book a lot. it was really cute, comical and suspenseful. I also think it would be a good way for children to learn their animals
This picture book has illustrations that are simple. This book is perfect for beginning readers, that are first to second grade. This book appeals to children more than adults.
I would not use this in my classroom unless it was a silent read for learners. It is a great beginning book for new learners.

I loved this book as a kid and enjoyed reading it to my grandchildren.
I‘m sure many of you guys remember this book! This was another one of my childhood favourites, and I was delighted to flip through it again today. I had a copy of this on my shelf, but gifted it to my cousin when she had her first child. After rereading it today, I‘m thinking I need to add it back to my shelf. ♥️#bbrc #a2z #picturebooks @LibrarianRyan
One of the sweetest books. A little bird just wants to find his mom who has gone out searching for his food.
He comes across lots of animals and other things but in the end he knows they are not his mother... and of course she reunited with him on the final pages.
So endearing, and as a child, this has been one of my favorite books and one I can remember my mother reading.
What were some of your favorite books as a little one?
this is a cute little story that is about a baby bird who is looking for his mother. his mother went to go get food and he goes up to different animals asking if they are is mother.
Today‘s desk calendar.
One of my mother‘s favorite sayings was “Anything worth doing is worth doing well.”
I attribute much of my perfectionism to her, for good or for bad. 😂
Anyone want to jump in with some other mom sayings?

Happy Halloween Littens!🎃Hope your's was/is fabulous. My work group read books at a nearby school this morning. I read one of my childhood favorites-the tagged book to 2 classes of 1st graders which was very fun. They gave us pics from the library, here w/ my Frappuccino co-worker & our 3rd-grade escort. Excuse my rained-on hair & lame barista costume. My team was a Starbucks at work & I was less than creative using my old apron for dress-up.👻😉

2. Tagged book.
3. Then: watch cartoons; like Clifford or Caillou. Now: watch whatever's on TV.

The picture is my mom and my grandmother, both of whom were everything to me. They taught me what I needed to know, they loved me with their whole heart and they showed me how to be the best version of myself. I miss them both terribly but am grateful everyday that they were mine. Thanks for the opportunity to share about them @Syndelle777 #ShelfieSunday
🌺🌺Happy Mother‘s Day to all! This was in the school gift from my little girl; she knows me best! I hope everyone has a wonderful day today. 🌺🌺
My mom loved the lonely; the downtrodden; the people and animals who didn‘t get a fair shake in this life; the ones that society throw away because they‘re poor, sick or addicted. She knew what it was like to be broken. On the day she got her cancer diagnosis, she cried. And then she answered her phone and listened patiently to her friend who was going through some problems. She was someone who made others feel valued even while she lay dying. ❤️
Happy Mother‘s Day to all you #MummaLittens out there, I hope you have a wonderful day with your families. I got to hold this chubby bubba for the first time today. Meet my new nephew, Xander Wyatt Parker. He‘s soooo adorable!💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
#HopIntoSpring Day 2: These are among some of my #BelovedChildrensBook (s) - I practically grew up on these titles. The tagged book was the first time I remember ever being so moved that I cried over a book. I could safely claim that these are some of the titles that have truly turned me into the reader that I am now. Wrote a review of these books here: https://wp.me/pDlzr-98U
Things I never thought I would call my mother for at age 34:
“Can you come help me finish getting dressed? I tweaked my back really bad while I was getting dressed, and Joe can‘t leave work for another couple of hours.”
She dropped everything to come help me get dressed, took me to the doctor, got my meds filled, got me lunch, walked my dog, and got me settled back in bed. She‘s amazing, and I love her to the moon and back. So grateful.❤️❤️❤️
#myhappiness is babies and books. Here‘s an older pic of my little girls enjoying some of their favorite books. ♥️ #marchintooz
Got some #bookmail today! My baby shower was on Saturday and I just wanted to say thank you to @Tiffy_Reads for the idea of people bringing children's books instead of greeting cards. My little dude is on his way to having a well-stocked library! Such a cool idea, and I love how everyone wrote notes in the books they brought. 🤗💙👶🏻🤰🏻🤗

Thinking of the characteristics of the partridge in a pear tree, I thought of the poor little baby bird from Are You My Mother.
They have a number of similarities (shown above), and by the end of the book/song, they are both getting the teensiest bit annoying.

That kitten freaks me out... and I'm convinced my mother was a Snort.
Not Book-Related Baby Bird Update ?(See last night's post) Morning check in found the momma bird on top of the nest (she flew off as I approached) & the baby bird I returned to the nest snuggled in with its sibling-so hopefully it will be OK. Max stopped pouting & chewing me out (he's a vocal cat) so at the moment he's off the "really bad" list ?but since this is now his 4th bird murder or attempted murder, he's a serial birderer??#catsoflitsy
