3.5/5 ⭐️ Cute story with so much tasty food. I wish there was more development with Ryan's father, but I think the grief storyline was well written.

Interesting. A story about the life of Loretta Young starting shortly before she meets Clark Gable. Not my genre, but a very interesting read/listen. You have to admire the woman and all that she accomplished.
After the release of this biography many have refuted Higham‘s claims as nothing more than guilt by association. Either way this is an interesting and even exciting biography that reads like an adventure novel. Part 3
He had a dark side, drugs and alcohol, womanizing, he was charged with statutory rape twice and acquitted both times. The term, “In like Flynn” actually originated from those trials. With all the negative aspects of his life a biographer, Charles Higham claimed to have found an even darker secret, that Errol Flynn was a Nazi Spy. This accusation was based totally on his friendship with a man named Hermann Erben, who was in fact a Nazi Spy. Part 2
Errol Flynn lived a full and short life. Ultimately the alcohol and drug use ended his life at the age of 50. He may have been one of the first action stars. He was Captain Blood, Robin Hood, and Don Juan. It was said that Flynn was “what every woman wanted and what every man wanted to be”. How could a man who had everything end up such a train wreck? Part one
This was nothing special, but if you're looking for some fluffy romance with a bookstore setting, you're all set! I liked the characters and the mostly low-stakes story. It was a fun break for me. There were a few over-the-top things that happened, and one or two times a problem just seemed like it was tossed in for mild flavor but didn't add much else, but overall I did enjoy this. #LGBTQIA
First day of Fall/ Saturday morning porch vibes 😊
(This riff on Notting Hill is adorable so far)
So I liked the overall story (and cared way more about the friends and his daddy), but ... I feel the ending was a bit lackluster. So... more in-between a pick and so-so for me (but leaning towards so-so because when it's a problem with the ending that's all you can think about).
But.. I got to read outside in the hammock with my baby boy JuJuB and a nice warm blanket :)
