Finished in August.

This is an age-gap romance, but I liked it. She gets hired as a nanny and can‘t stop thinking about the hot single dad she works for.

Gorgeous! I absolutely loved Cade and Willa.
Also, little Luke is adorably funny. 👢🤠

Did not love this as much as the first two. Although I do love the characters, the story was kind of predictable and some things felt a little forced. Nonetheless, an extremely cute romance.

When I first read this, I gave it 5 stars. Age & wisdom have bumped it down to 3; it‘s not nearly as funny as I remember. Maybe it‘s because I‘ve seen the movie too many times, where the mom is redeemed just a little, I felt ZERO sympathy for the Mrs. X in the book. My heart breaks for that little boy (& the dog). I hope he gets a happy ending in the sequel
And this line hit like a punch in the gut. I have felt exactly that way in my own career.

I had high hopes for this one , it was interesting and had creepy vibes , I like her writing I am just not a fan of the drawn out stories with unsatisfying endings

bumpinthenight For me, her concepts have a lot of potential but like you said, it doesn‘t really come together or hit the mark like I want it to a lot of the time. 11mo
Areader2 @bumpinthenight I agree ,same with the last book I read Riley Sagers Middle of the Night, and God of the Woods both had so much potential so much time setting up these great complex storylines but then the ending is simpler and unfulfilling, I don‘t regret reading them so I guess that‘s important ha 11mo
