This is a story about learning to live again, following Lenny as she navigates grief. Miles is the lifeboat she didn‘t know she needed. I laughed at Lenny‘s witty retorts and cried ugly tears with her several times. This book wrecked me and also healed my heart at the same time. Book #64 in 2025 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

These are my July #roll100 picks. #64 is the June #LSFBC pick that I didn‘t get around to reading. #84 is the next book I‘ll be reading for #naturalitsy. I‘m working on catching up with the buddy read. #46 is the next short story I‘m reading this month for the #christiescapers buddy read.

Meh. This had a lot of potential, but the suspenseful parts seems rushed, and we were forced fed details about other things that never seemed to be relevant to the story. #64-2024

I did not enjoy this. I don‘t understand the hype and how this was made into a successful tv show. The writing is choppy, clumsy, and a fragmented jumble of thoughts thrown together. I was unable to connect with any of the characters, and that‘s not because I didn‘t understand what was happening. This was not the literary masterpiece I was expecting. The ending made some sense of the writing, but I already made up my mind. Book #64 in 2024

Absolutely fantastic! This book carries you through a myriad of emotions as you follow young Marilyn Kleinman in the 1960s. Born in an affluent Jewish family comes with expectations that include going to college to marry well and become the perfect housewife Marilyn was having none of it. 5 stars for sure; captivating writing and excellent character development. The surprise at the end, *chefs kiss! Book #64 in 2023

If you have watched the documentary about Pam on Netflix, there really isn't much need to read this book; there really isn't anything additional except for Pam's philosophical ideas. If you haven't seen the doc, and you're curious about who Pamela really is, this is worth reading.
