I loved this book as a kid and enjoyed reading it to my grandchildren.

#OhMother. Wife. Assassin. If you haven‘t read this yet, why not? One of the best books I‘ve read this year, I just love the main character. Why cast a woman as “Jane Bond” when women can create their own kick-ass characters like Lex Tyler?

#OhMother - and oh, brother... this is the second book that my at work book club has read but I feel responsible for drumming up enthusiasm for a book that I first read a decade ago and loved that upon re-reading makes me question exactly how I read it in one sitting... it‘s a heavy read and having concurrently watched the film this time around, I am both impressed and dismayed with the adaptation... still a pick but... yeesh...
