Thought this was a fitting book for today's prompt. I haven't read this one but thought the FX show the book was based on was excellent.

Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks I remember this like it was yesterday! I was pregnant with my first daughter and watched the trial everyday!!! 7y

GripLitGrl @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks Yes I'll never forget it either. I was hooked on the trial since the infamous Bronco chase. First time i remember everything on tv being interrupted for a breaking news story. 7y

An lot of Elizabeth Peters novels would suit these prompts. This is the first one I read. Susan and Jamie journey around Scotland on the run from the villains and the authorities using Jamie's uncanny resemblance to a member of the royal family as cover. There's lots of entertaining background about Scottish legends, including the location of the real Stone of Scone.
