5/5⭐️ I am crying at the end, I‘m so happy!!

With some depth this could have been awesome, there was so many missed opportunities here. There's no exploration of feelings to how Claire feels to find herself two hundred years in the past or of her feelings on being parted from Frank. There's no exploration of struggle between adapting to an earlier time without modern day conveniences.
It could have been epic but it was average and not worth the 849 page count.

This was my #DoubleSpin for November, and I'm glad I finally read it. I'm now caught up on the #Outlander books and am only awaiting the final season of the show and the final book in the series. Perhaps I'll try something from the “Methadone List.“ But first, I need to read my #BookSpin book for the month.

What a tome this is - a thoroughly enjoyable one, though. I always love finding out what these characters have been up to. Some time travel plus lots of things going on which are too numerous to mention. There is a very sad moment so don‘t forget your hankie!😢. I can‘t wait to read book nine and then I would imagine there‘ll be a quite a wait until book ten is finished, the final instalment. I shall be so sorry to say goodbye to Jamie & Claire.

The re-read is coming to an end, as I finish book 9. I still have a couple of peripherals to the main story to read, but I'm not sure what speed I'll read those. Hopefully the next book will be out before im completely done.

My #BookSpin (18) and #DoubleSpin (1) are both ebooks that have been on my TBR for years. I know I'll enjoy The Space Between, but I'm not sure about Interesting Times.

Reading this has made me want to plan a trip to Scotland!

Time to give this a go. Land of my ancestors and a place I‘d love to get back to one day.
