I‘m sad and hangry today (but it‘s nothing to what I‘ll be later tonight since I‘ve got a colonoscopy tomorrow) so I picked up a book that‘s been on my shelf forever. In fact, there was an unopened card in it from a Secret Santa from an email list serv that hasn‘t existed in decades! That did make me crack a small smile, remembering when I was too young for colonoscopies. 😂

Ruthiella The prep is awful. You have my sympathy! But personally speaking, the actual event is not a big deal and the drugs are awesome. The best nap ever. So I‘m hoping that is the case for you too! 3mo
BookNAround @Ruthiella I have a crap (pun intended) genetic history so this is already my third colonoscopy. You‘re not wrong though; it is the best sleep ever! 3mo
Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks I hope everything goes well!! I‘m the same today from a dental procedure 😫😫 3mo

LiteraryinLawrence When I prepped for one I just watched Friends for hours straight. I couldn‘t focus on reading. Good luck! 3mo

BookNAround @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks I hope your dental procedure went well! 3mo
BookNAround @slategreyskies @LiteraryinLawrence @Jas16 @Ruthiella @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks Thanks! It went well and I have a 5 year reprieve, which is all they give people with my genetic history. All in all, as good as can be expected! (edited) 3mo

ALL the books I bought in London, which also meant that I carried them around 3 tube stations, two airports and another train station back in Germany 😮‍💨🥱.
1st row: From Gay‘s the Word (Monday)
2nd row: Foyles & National Gallery Shop (Tuesday)
3rd row: Waterstones at Picadilly (Wednesday)

Last post from #London I‘m afraid, since I‘m already at Heathrow and on my way back home. London is always a treat, and seeing all the lights and Christmas decorations was amazing. I definitely can‘t complain that my bag is too light, phew 😮‍💨.

#Two4Tuesday @TheSpineView

1. Yes, which I've accomplished by gradually cutting down the number of people I buy presents for by about 90%. 😁

2. White Noise (the grocery store scene)

I cackled and cringed my way through this book. So many relatable characters, so many kooky characters. #WinterGames2023 #TeamEvergreen

I would use this book to teach students the alphabet. This book uses words and pictures to help children understand letters.
