I‘m not sure how I feel about this. I appreciate the discussions of issues of race, class, and gender, although I feel some parts where better done than others.
There‘s an insidious, creeping, gaslighting kind of horror that permeates this book from every single husband, entirely separate from the vampire that assaults and murders black children. 🌕🌕🌗🌑🌑
