I adored reading this book, it was a great palette cleanse from Patient Zero. The characters are likable and even if it‘s a fast read, it put in a lot action pack moments and romantic moments. I‘m excited to read the sequel! I highly recommend this book for the heart warming moments and the funny moments.

Didn‘t know there was a sequel until a few months ago, but I started this book at work for my lunch hour read. While the movie is very different, I like the two of them for different reasons.

I couldn‘t find my copy of World War Z, so I must have gotten rid of it at some point, which means this is my only Zombie book. Read this last year for #Scarathlon!

I finished this one earlier in the week and I really enjoyed it! Now I kind of want to rewatch the movie adaptation to see how different it was.

Warm Bodies is funny, bittersweet, and thought provoking, if you stop and think what it means to be Dead or Alive.

(Also, I can‘t resist: what does a vegan zombie eat? Grains!)

I read this for the Scarathlon but I was too slow. Kind of a sweet, zombie version of Romeo and Juliet. I think I‘ll watch the movie just to see how they tackled this storyline.

I know some people have asked about how I am doing after breaking my knee last Monday, so here is an update now that I am back home and have seen the ortho. We were able to remove the plaster cast that was put on in France and replace with a brace that will slowly allow me more mobility on my knee. Thankful that surgery was not required, though I will still be immobile for awhile. Watching Halloween movies and finishing this book today 🎃

Really liked this! Very unique take on a totally overdone trope… second team read for #teamhendrix and another 3 hrs for #20in4 … think I‘m going to have to go by chapters and call it a success that way 🙈

I love this book so much. I felt actual emotion when I read it. The story of a zombie who is trying to find his way back to humanity. This feels so original. In general, I try to avoid zombie stories because they bore me. But for Warm Bodies I will make an exception. So good. 5 stars.

Glad I finally got to read this. This is not your typical zombie novel. I really enjoyed the story and the narration from a zombie‘s POV was perfect. Definitely interested in getting the next book.

I remembered enjoying the movie when I first saw it several years ago. However I was pleasantly surprised by the depth of the book and really enjoyed it. The friendship between R and M was one of my favorite things in the book and I loved seeing those moments in the movie. I may pick up the second book at some point too.

I actually liked the book more than I thought I might. I liked the humor & getting R‘s POV as a zombie & his friendship with M. In fact, I think the friendships between R & M & Julie & Nora were what I liked more than the zombie romance. I saw the movie when it came out & although there were some ⬇️

This is the team read for #TeamHendrix and I really enjoyed it. I loved the fact that it's told from the zombie's, R's point of view 🧟‍♂️

I *finally* finished last month‘s #NovelWatchingCrew book! (But not the movie yet.)

I enjoyed it enormously, right blend of zombie grossness, humor and every color of emotional string-pulling.

I‘m not sure I‘m up to the sequel/s though. I just want the happy ending for this couple & the budding romance of their costars.

Hopefully this helps my #HauntedHollowSwap person. The only vampires I like are Twilight, the only witchy stuff is Harry Potter, cute is how I roll, but I can handle all things zombie! Werewolves are cool, but did I mention zombies. Candy corn and pumpkin spice all the way! 😍I hope you have a lot of fun! 💛
