I know I'm behind on the #tearinupmyheart prompt for #90sinjuly but nothing initially came to mind... until today listening to this #audiobook. I seriously doubt I'll finish this one as the story is making me SO mad! It's about an abusive ex husband stalking his ex wife and alternates with their history together. I got to this one scene and shut it off and switched to a cheesy sci-fi audiobook.

Thus had me open mouth, little bitch crying so much. 😭The story and writing was so beautiful though.
I need to emotionally prepare myself for the other one.

Robin Hood is #WhattaMan. The Scarlet series is a fabulous and heart-wrenching retelling of Robin Hood. The second book (my favorite of the series) had me bawling like a baby (maybe I should've used it for #tearinupmyheart). A.C. Gaughen pulls in a lot of historical fact (from my layman's perspective) and it was not a pretty or easy time. #90sinJuly

This is a bit darker than some others I've seen posted but nothing works for #tearinupmyheart like this book. I mean ugly tears and heartbreak. I absolutely believe everyone needs to read this book but I warn you.....it's hard to handle.

I cried so hard while reading this. It's a really beautiful examination of loss and friendship.
