This is my non-mystery #serieslove2024 list. There‘s no way I‘ll read all of these along with the rest of my planned reading for the year, but I definitely want to pick off a few of them. The tagged book might (or might not) be one of them. #shipsorsailing #newyearnewbooks

TheSpineView Looks fabulous! Enjoy 3mo
Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick In my opinion, Dawn Treader was the last of the good books in that series. But maybe that's just me, with no nostalgia of it from childhood. As for the Cemetery of Forgotten Books series, I thought Prisoner of Heaven was better than The Angel's Game, so hoteliers you'll be delighted to carry on. I have book 4 plus the short story collection to go and hope that this year is the year I finish that series. 3mo
Susanita @Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick I absolutely loved The Shadow of the Wind. Angel‘s Game was memorable but not as magical as the first. I‘m looking forward to the next one in any case. 3mo

The Last Battle | C. S. Lewis

“And then she understood the devilish cunning of the enemies‘ plan. By mixing a little truth with it they had made their lie far stronger.” In this final adventure our heroes face their greatest enemy of all. Not a monster or a dragon or an army, but a tidal wave of fear fueled by a lie. #narnia #52challenge

“And whatever strange things may happen to you, let nothing turn your mind from following the signs.” In my most humble opinion, this thrilling story is the best book in the entire Narnia series. This adventure teaches not only the heroes but also the reader that all journeys require a map of wisdom that if neglected will almost indefinitely result in greater trials and heartache. #narnia #52challenge

“Courage, dear heart.” In a book where everything that could go wrong does go wrong, this encouraging whisper in a moment of bleak darkness is the glimpse of light we as the reader and our hero need to hear. Written more as a collection of short adventures than a single arc, this story takes the reader on a wild ride of high and low waves. #narnia #52challenge

“Isn‘t it funny how day by day nothing changes but when you look back, everything is different.” After falling in love with the land of Narnia we must now see how years of war has made its once magical existence a distant memory, even a fantasy. Yet hope is not lost but is instead growing in the heart of a new king of Narnia who must learn what it means to be a true leader. #narnia #52challenge

“No one is told any story but their own.” This book is magically unique in a book series that is already magically unique in itself. From the viewpoint of the most unlikely of adventurers we learn that everyone‘s story is far more significant than they themselves can see. Whether horse or boy everyone has a part to play if only they are willing. #narnia #52challenge
