pickThis, although a pick, is a mixed review. Story-wise, I enjoyed it. This was probably the scariest I‘ve seen of the Joker. Overall, super creepy and dark. And I love that. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
But as I was reading, I felt like I had read some of it, while some of it seemed fresh… and that‘s when I found out that they took most of Batman: Endgame, and shoved some new stories in and republished it as a whole different book. Not cool. Slightly skeevy. ⭐️
When you think you‘ve read the whole Snyder Batman run last year (in the goal of finishing all your GN TBR pile), and then your friend finds a random GN at the dollar store…. 😳

pickOne of the better Joker stories of the current generation. This reminds me of the Animated Batman series. It shows how methodical the Joker really can be. It culminates with a epic battle that sums up a complex relationship. Which receives a sort of closure. If you have read Death of The Family (not to be confused with Death in The Family ) I would recommend this graphic novel.

I‘ve always been fascinated by the Joker, so I was excited to read this graphic novel. It sets him against pretty much everyone Batman is connected to, so you get to see just how intelligent (and insane) he really is. One of the best parts of this particular book is that Harley Quinn doesn‘t just mindlessly follow the Joker around; she actually gets to fight for herself.
This is Joker at his most diabolical and Batman at his most relentless. The ending is epic. Scott Snyder is one of the best Batman writers ever.
