Don't be fooled by the genre of this book or its size. It's actually very readable despite the fact that it's a Classics ...and very enjoyable with lots of characters, some you love & adore (& they might NOT be the one on the title😬) and some you hate 😩

Sorry all. Been on Litsy hiatus and only able to check briefly here and there. Life strikes again!

My first read of the month. I have been waiting to read this for so long. It‘s even more interesting right now because the area I live has a considerable Punjabi population, and this will be an interesting insight into their lives.
