I grabbed this one off the front display of the library on a whim. I enjoyed it far more than I thought I would. This was a delightful story about how the mistakes that we make when we are young can sometimes alter the course of our lives, but can also help to shape us into our true selves. Translated from French, this is a story told from multiple points of view of many entertaining family members facing personal crises. I enjoyed the development of the female characters, especially the dynamic of the mother/daughter relationships.
