This is not really a time travel novel by the main character travels to different dimensions. Some of them have very altered timelines so it feels like a completely different time.

One of my favourite comfort movies is Sliding Doors. Lionel Shriver's tagged novel is based on a similar what if? premise. #Timeaftertime, the novel moves back and forth between two possibilities: what happens if Irina stays with her husband and what happens if she leaves him. Neither is clearly the right course.
I liked it when I read it but probably prefer watching pre-Goop Gwyneth Paltrow in Sliding Doors. #augustgrrrl @Cinfhen
