I just finished the movie series on Netflix last night. I know I read some of the goosebumps books but I'm not sure if I read any of the fear street books. The movies were good but definitely not for children. I may have to check out some of the books and see how they stand up.

Would the books be too advanced/mature for my 11 year old niece?

I listened to the audio book (which is a full cast narration) and I loved it. I love Mia's humor and sometimes snarky attitude.
At the end the author talks about the things that actually happened in history - like a ship manifest with a name that he used for one of the main characters.

I can't decide what I should read next. I kinda what to read Shadow and Bone before the show comes out but I've heard that the show will cover stuff from 5 different books... They both sound so amazing.

I enjoyed this one more then the first. That ending🤯 Now I have really high hopes for book 3.

Solid second book. I don't remember much about the 1st book though. I really enjoyed the characters relationships in this one. ⭐⭐⭐ Also, I love the cover.

I can't decide on a name for my newest fur babies. I'm leaning towards Galaxy (Alex for short) for the 1st one. My other cat is named Luna so I'm thinking of staying with that theme. Any ideas?

This was such a good book!
I don't think this is a spoiler because it happens right at the beginning but the main characters cat dies. My cat recently passed so that part really got me.
Such an interesting concept and so emotional at the same time.

I was listening to the audiobook and that is probably why I can't make it through this book. It is supposed to be set in a fictional historic France with an american narrator (which I'm okay with) but for some reason a lot of the side characters have heavy British accents. There is a scene in a pub where after playing it back multiple times slowed down I still don't know all of what was said.
