Last book read in January. Magical realism is not at all my thing🤷🏽‍♀️But I wanted to read this book because I heard amazing things about this author writing style and comments were correct. Besides the magical realism there are so many other things happening in this story beautifully written: about love, friendship, second chances for Mabel and Jack, family dynamics full with love and respect, love to nature, parenting relations.⬇️

Gissy (Cont.) the story has even humor with that Esther, what a funny, optimistic, strong character. I just love it 4.5/5⭐️ I will say that this is my best book read during this month, the last book I read this month. Thank you @Tpixie I received this book in a difficult time, after Hurricane Maria and @tpixie package was so meaningful to me at that moment. I didn‘t have electricity at that time. A touch of happiness and love after the tempest🥰 13mo
