LiterRohde @TheSpineView Many times I use synonyms for the prompt. In this case I used the word ‘hidden‘. This dropped me down a rabbit hole for what is called ‘hidden‘ or ‘blackout‘ poetry. You find the hidden poetry within the pages of a larger work. I think I spent at least an hour looking at different examples. 5y

Aimeesue Meanwhile, I have a raccoon and an opossum who come to eat on my deck every night and a bird who's built a nest INSIDE our screened in porch. 😄 Great, sad poem though. 5y

Lcsmcat @Aimeesue We have bunnies, deer, and the occasional fox in our backyard. I couldn‘t live with a cement yard! 5y

Aimeesue @Lcsmcat How horrible that would be! Yesterday on our walk, the doggos and I saw a deer, and then watched a black squirrel racing along the top of a picket fence, being chased by a very angry screeching bird. Who could choose to miss wonders like that? 5y
