As excited as I was to read this book, it was defiantly my #WorstReadOfTheYear. There were a couple of times I got into the story but then it changed. #DeckTheShelves

MatchlessMarie @saguarosally Yikes! I could see how some might get into Grace Eventually and I do plan to try Lamott again but the other two are just ethically wrong imo. One promotes misogyny/inequality and the other ableism, eugenics, forced sterilization. So proceed with caution. 🚨 7y

hermyknee I also hated Into The Water! I‘m currently listening to The Lying Game, but I don‘t know if I‘ll finish it. I‘ve got ten hours left and so far NOTHING HAS HAPPENED. 7y

Ross lol I picked it up on a whim. I used to enjoy Dean Koontz as brain candy reading between the nonfiction stuff I usually read (pretty sure I had just finished finals too). I actually managed to have a great time with it. Haha not because it was good, but because it was bad. Like watching a terrible B movie because it‘s a terrible B movie. But in my case, that‘s what I needed at the time and that‘s probably the only reason I was able to enjoy it. 😂 7y

Cupofjo Man, it‘s been a long time since I‘ve read TickTock... but was it really that bad?? It is Dean Koontz! Lol (there was one I didn‘t like, I just no longer remember which one it was!) 7y

Reagan The Lying Game was awful. I avoided the Paula Hawkins because I thought The Girl on the Train was so bad. 7y

JackieSmith Into the Water was a DNF for me...read 30 pages, thought “oh, this happens,” flipped to the last chapter, was correct. 🙄 Glad I got it from library and didn‘t purchase. 7y
