My local bookstore asks me to contribute reviews for their newsletter and handed me this one. I wasn‘t sure what to expect when I opened the book, but from page one…wow. Just wow. This is an adrenaline-filled rollercoaster ride, filled with terror and red herrings and so many surprises. Underneath it all is a statement regarding first impressions and the way we tend to not think how our blasé look at world events impacts others. ⬇️⬇️⬇️

Librarybelle ⬆️⬆️⬆️ Very thought provoking and very timely, given today‘s political climate and unconscionable actions. But, I digress…who would have thought a thriller could conjure so much?!? This is also a book about choices. What would you choose—crashing a plane or saving your family??? There are a few graphic parts, and I had to put everything else on hold this morning just to finish. Really good. I requested her second book from the library alresdy! 2d

Forty-something single mother, Casey Singleton, works at Norton Aircraft & when a report comes in of an issue with flight TPA 545, Casey is on the team asked to investigate. An initial contact with the pilot has him blaming turbulence but this isn't backed up by external evidence, & the flight crew are suddenly whisked away before Casey has a chance to conduct interviews. OutsmartYourShelf When the team finally enters the fuselage it is obvious that something strange happened aboard the flight leaving two people dead & several others badly injured. Just what is being covered up, by who, & why?

There was a lot of technical jargon & many acronyms in this book but it was still surprisingly interesting to read. Most of the narrative is from Casey's point of view, although a little later in the book we get several chapters from a local 2mo

OutsmartYourShelf reporter's viewpoint. The technology (faxes, beepers, etc) are like going back to the stone age now & I would have guessed 1980s as a publishing date, yet it was released in 1996. It's not action-packed but it's a decent thriller for its age.
