pickWhile it is true that the AI is a better character than any of the human character and it is very dry, it does explain everything clearly and gives you a lot to think about. This is what books and Arthur C. Clarke can do really well. Ask big questions and really make you think.

Some of my favourite authors for Arthur books. Most are fiction. It would be remiss not to mention Marion Zimmer Bradley whose books I absolutely adored in my teens, but whose private life has pretty much made her an author that most people don't recommend. I'll let you look her up.
