pan08/100 Imagine Star Trek filtered through Douglas Adams, with a splash of Gilbert & Sullivan, an a huge dollop of the misunderstanding tropes from Three's Company. That's what this book was, the worst kind of slapstick silliness, it even has a pie fight between the Federation and the Klingons!! Amazing that this tripe comes from an author as good as John M. Ford. 2 ⭐⭐

pickHorowitz is writing the last book with Hawthorne, based on a case Hawthorne worked several years earlier - a man was murdered in a wealthy neighborhood, everyone had a motive. Hawthorne was working with a man named Dudley as his sidekick, who Horowitz replaced in a way. The mystery and the side story of Horowitz and Hawthorne are good, as always. ⬇️
pickAnother riveting compilation of shot stories each showing us a bit more of the man behind the white hare and wolf medallion.
I especially enjoyed the last two stories, but I'm bais because I love Ciri. I adore her feisty sprite and determination.
I am however now more than ready to be done with the short stories and be immersed in a full length novel
