I love this series, and just happily learned that there will be more in come but not until 2020. You can read the first book as a standalone if you want, but this sequel is just as delightful. This was SUCH A DELIGHT. Alyssa Cole is the queen of romance. I didn't want Portia and Tav's story to end, it was over too soon. I'm psyched for the next book (A Prince On Paper, in 2019) and can't wait to see the amazing cover. These covers are the best. Look at that silver fox! Look at Portia's curls and that awesome dress! Record of a Spaceborn Few: Wayfarers 3 | Becky Chambers

The Wayfarer books are such a delight. This one is different from the first 2 in that it has 5 main characters and the POV bounces between them, and it's more of a "slice of life" kind of book rather than a big plot. I hope Becky Chambers decides to write more set in this series.
