I loved the movie so I was happy when I found the manga.
Enjoyable steampunk.
Alita should be up there with the classics of Ghost in the Shell
Alita is fierce and adorable who puts her heart into everything

I forgot how messed up this book is! Amazing read

This is my first manga and I now understand why this genre is so popular. The storyline was intense and fun and the art is gorgeous!!! Definitely will read more!!!

Having seen the movie I figured it was time to read my very first Manga

Speaking of Cinder, I watched the trailer of Alita: Battle Angel and it reminded me so much of Cinder and the Lunar Chronicles series. Has anyone read Alita the manga? Is it me or there are a lot of similarities in the stories?

My copy is so old it's flipped.

I saw Alita Battle Angel last night; I had no idea it was based on a manga (though I probably won't check it out bc I'm not a fan of manga at all...). I really enjoyed the movie. Amazing visuals, good chemistry between actor. It's a shame James Cameron's screenplay is so bad. High concept, beautiful world, but he can't think of an original story. Derivative, such bad dialogue. I would love to watch this as a silent movie, just music and effects🤷

Read this manga (my first manga) in preparation for the upcoming movie. It was alright. I feel like it‘s not much like the preview tho so I‘m wondering if it‘s more like an inspired by than a recreation. Going to try and make my boyfriend read it prior us seeing the movie 🖤
