1. I currently live in the suburbs of Houston but would prefer living in the mountains (a place like Flagstaff, AZ).
2. The tagged book is set in Houston, although I prefer his other book set in Texas (Lonesome Dove).

@BookmarkTavern

I couldn't resist a wee change. A fave movie. 💚🩷💚

BookmarkTavern You‘re forgiven, because you picked one of my favorite movies! ❤️ Thanks for sharing! 2w
dabbe @BookmarkTavern Mine, too! It's the only Rutger Hauer movie where he's both a stud and a good guy! 🤩 Navarre .... sigh. 😂 2w
BookMaven9 Hands down one of my all@time favorite films ❤️ 2w

1. I prefer hardcover when possible, but trade paperbacks are great too
2. According to my storygraph stats, 25% nonfiction, 75% fiction 🙂
3. I enjoy historical fiction, but science fiction has been my favorite genre since I was a kid
4. More recent, with the occasional classic
5. COFFEE (I'm drinking some right now)
6. Physical, definitely
7. Print. It takes me forever to finish an audio book

LOVED this book. Gilbert is not the most comfortable lead, he has many faults but you still end up championing him throughout. He navigates his dysfunctional family the best he can, his love for his brother, Arnie is pure and whilst he struggles to find reasons to stay his loyalty ties him to his family. 5 stars for me

Sideways: A Novel | Rex Pickett

Can anyone tell me why @litsy wants all of my pics to be sideways? Every time I post, my image is properly oriented as I edit but when the post is published the image is sideways. (Note, I delete the post when this happens, so you won't see it reflected in any of my posts.) Am I the only person this happens to or is this a regular consequence of using the webpage rather than the app?

everlocalwest Of course this post is properly oriented. 😕 4w
Smrloomis Huh, this doesn‘t happen to me…weird! So you have to rotate it every time? 4w
Sharpeipup I‘ve been wondering this too! If I crop or edit the photo, then it will post correctly. I don‘t understand! 4w

everlocalwest @Smrloomis Sometimes they are properly oriented and sometimes they aren't. When they aren't - I just delete the post. So I have this backlog of reviews that I wanna post but don't want to post wonkily. I think my suspicion that this is a web based issue is it - but Litsy is no longer on Android. :( 4w
everlocalwest @Sharpeipup If I edit the photo - in any way! - it deletes from the post and I don't like posting without an image so I just delete the whole post when that happens. I'm so frustrated by it!! But I'm about to review dump and just let what happens happens. 4w
Smrloomis @everlocalwest darn! That‘s so frustrating 😡 4w

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We listened to this one over two days as we drove from IL to FL, and it was so fun going back to the beginning of a story I know so well. Rowling really is a master at building characters, and Jim Dale is a fantastic narrator!

OMG as a D&D player I loved this. From Princess Donut to Mungo. This book is just pure entertainment.
