An activity for this book could be to have students create their own poems for that month. I think it would be neat to see what everyone would come up with.

I really like this book! I think it would be good to pull this book out each month and read the poem. At the end of the school year, you could read the poems for summer. I think this book was a creative idea!

Review- A Child's Calendar by John Updike, 1965. Monthly things that children look forward to in the months to be, this book talks about the joy each month brings. The illustrations are child memories of each month and the joys the kids look forward to.
Blurbs- In class a fun activity to do with this book is to create poems of their favorite season. They can add fun pictures of their season.
