Mixed: My Life in Black and White | Angela Nissel

Just started this and I am already laughing hysterically. Nissel has a great sense of humor and is a really great story. Her reflections on growing up biracial are funny yet intimate and says so much about racial tensions during the 1980‘s. I‘m looking forward to reading more. #readblackwomen #celebrateblackwomen

MicheleinPhilly I read The Broke Diaries on New Years‘ Eve day YEARS ago and sent her an email through her website. She wrote back almost immediately and we ended up going back and forth lamenting how neither of us had plans for New Years‘ Eve. She is magnificent. 6y
