I liked how this book touched on nostalgia and the importance of a home. It was a very good read

“Because acorn was an oak... but still a little wild inside.“

Anytime I've read this in the classroom, students are always laughing and have been able to make great predictions of what will happen to acorn next. I love reading this story when it becomes fall.

This is a very heartwarming story of an adventurous acorn who falls from an oak tree and goes on a long journey. There's hilarious scenes written throughout and children will love laughing at the pictures. Perfect story for a read-aloud.

“Never change!”

I would use this to introduce the caterpillars lifecycle. It also dives into how to navigate tough situations with friends.

Week 3: Graphia. Such an interesting story that even gives students invite to a caterpillar life‘s cycle. The illustrations are so colorful and engaging. Love! Published in 2023.
