I did an Alexandra Bracken 2-for-1 for these two #JubilantJuly prompts. Never Fade is part of her Darkest Minds series, and I really like the #compasspoints on the cover. The other is her Star Wars book featuring Leia's #sideprofile . I haven't picked up the others in the series (I should!), but hers was fun! @RealLifeReading

I read A Northern Light several years ago and enjoyed it quite a bit. It's a lovely coming-of-age novel with history, romance, and murder. Dreaming of East is a book on my tbr about western women from the 1700s to the early 1900's who went traveling in search of freedom in the middle east. #compasspoints #sideprofiles #jubilantjuly

LauraAndTaraAndBooks Have read all of Gaskell EXCEPT North and South because I've watched that adaptation so many times. August is going to be classics month for me and N&S is top of the list and this is the first time I'm glad to have a TV image of a character in my head. Atlas Obscura: An Explorer's Guide to the World's Most Unusual Places | Joshua Foer, Ella Morton, Dylan Thuras

I love travel books loaded with pictures so I had to buy this book. When we went to Ireland, we saw the Skelligs from a distance but it wasn't open to tour. We did go inside a beehive hut nearby. And how could we travel without #compasspoints to direct us around the world?
