This was a fun, fast paced YA mystery read full of twists and turns.😄

Fun story where watching movie first led me to this book. In the movie, Frank‘s cons seemed to work because of his charm & luck. The book details his research, lots of research to make his cons work. Frank loved the ladies so some readers may find his sexist word choices & attitudes objectionable. The audiobook version I have does not have an epilogue. It just ends abruptly😮💨 I really wanted details on his career after his cons. ⬇️

I got to hear the author speak when the book first came out. Great story. Thought the movie was good too.
This #AardvarkBookClub pick has been waiting on my shelves & I had so much fun reading it! I giggled, I even teared up! Gretchen grew up a conwoman & for the last few years she‘s worked as a spirit medium in DC. Her best wealthy client sends her to a MD goat farm to perform an exorcism so that it can be sold… & Gretchen meets not only a grumpy farmer, but her first actual ghost who she can communicate with! I really had fun reading this! So cute!
This one clears a physical book off my shelves— right to my daughter‘s shelves. 😉
I enjoy McManus‘ books and this was no exception. The characters were complex and there was no shortage of twists.

Both my current reads include red-headed teen girl protagonists. Just a random observation, but I get a kick outta bookish coincidences like this lol
Utterly ridiculous, but also a delightfully fun, madcap start to a series co-written with Lee Goldberg. If you like Evanovich‘s Stephanie Plum novels, you‘ll appreciate the charming insanity of Kate and Nick. Thanks for the #auldlangspine recommendation @Mollyanna 💖
