BekahB I LOVE Jon Klassen‘s books! They always make me laugh. 😄 7y
Kallik93 @BekahB aren‘t they hilarious?? I love unspoken thoughts of the characters that tell more of the story than the actual words do. And the characters‘ eyes!! 7y

Kallik93 @mabell that looks cute! 7y
monalyisha Do I have to consider if kids would like them, too? If so, that‘s a different list. 😉 There are some picture books that I find gorgeous & poignant but that I think kids might find boring. 7y
monalyisha P.S. I do also love Jon Klassen! He‘s part of the cutie/hottie children‘s book author gang (also joined by Dallas Clayton, Kevin Sherry, Oliver Jeffers, Mac Barnett, Ben Clanton... the list goes on! 😍) 7y
Kallik93 @monalyisha there are a lot of books that I feel are more for the parents than the kids! 7y
monalyisha @Kallik93 One of my favorite picture books that I never hear/see mentioned (that I think is more for the grown crowd) is “The Boy Who Grew Flowers.” (edited) 7y
The Boy who Grew Flowers
monalyisha Another (more well-known) one is “The Red Wolf” by Margaret Shannon. 7y
The Red Wolf
